Fig Jam

Inspired by the fresh sweet flavours of figs grown by our neighbours right here in Essex County!  Yes figs even grow in our special corner of Canada.

This aromatic fig jam is prepared from fresh Mission figs, sugar pectin and a hint of lemon juice.  Fig jam is equally elegant on a charcuterie board as it is on a warm slice of bread.   A great accompaniment to roast pork or chicken. And vegan too! Simply fig-tastic!
