Serenity’s Culinary Lavender

Our specially selected English Lavender buds have the sweetest fragrance and  a light floral flavour with citrus notes.

The uses of lavender are limited only by your imagination – from salad dressings to creme brulee, lavender is an incredibly versatile herb for cooking and can be found in the kitchens of many restaurants and bars and was  featured in the LCBO’s Food and Drink Magazine.  The flowers look beautiful and taste great in a martini or margarita.

Lavender lends itself to savoury dishes too- from wine reduced sauces to honey citrus glazes, it pairs well with chicken, salmon, beef and lamb, and of course, who could forget chocolate!  These diminutive blossoms are a perfect pairing with anything chocolate, including cake, brownies, sorbet or custard.
